About Me
Hey there…
So you want to know a bit more about me?
Well where do I start?
I was born in Durban, South Africa, 30 something :) years ago.
Durban was a great place to live when I was growing up. It had everything. Durban is situated on the south east coast so we had the sun and the beach all within reach.
At the age of 13 years old I met Andre and even back then we were a couple of dreamers, always looking for something that was going to make us money lol.
Well, let’s just say, when the shit hit the fan, in South Africa and jobs were scarce I decided to make a break for it, to try my luck in the UK.
My mother is South African but my dad was British so my siblings and I are entitled to British passports.
My older brother had already being living in the UK for years so I bit the bullet and left the warm, blue, sunny skies of South Africa for the cold, cloudy, grey skies of England.
That was in 1996.
I lived there for 10 years. In those 10 years I met and married my wife Kerry and we have two beautiful children together. Declan, he’s 9 years old but thinks he’s fifteen and Megan, she’s 4 nearly 5 in January.
As you probably already know, Andre got me into the Internet Marketing game. He’d been making money online for a while and he’d been pressuring me to doing something but I had a well paid job and I was “scared” to give that up especially with kids and bills to pay.
But… after much humming and arhing I decided to give it a shot. It was a pretty big gamble especially since we were also moving to Spain at the same time.
That was in 2007.
So that’s what we did. Kerry had just finished getting her history degree, I quit my job, we sold our house and most of our possessions, packed up the rest and my wife, two kids, cat and I moved to Spain.
I literally started from the bottom. I knew nothing, nada about Internet Marketing but I had Andre who helped me get to where I am today.
And you know what I have never really looked back. Yeah it’s been hard, to be honest REALLY hard at times but the lifestyle more than makes up for it.
Well thats all for now.
Until next time,
Mark Acutt
